Strange White Lump On Black Moor Fin

My black moor (Dave) has a strange white lump on his fin, im not too sure what it is, the lump looks quite solid and is on both sides of his fin - does anyone know what this could be ..... please, i have attached some pics of dave!!
I have put in a small tank on his own with some fungus medicine - any suggestions?? Also he seems quite happy swimming about, eating etc he doesnt look to be ill

Sorry can't help much but after a week of fungus try some antibac medicine like melafix you could also add some some tonic salt to the water generally helps.
 
could be a broken ray that healed like that? if he seems happy then id leave it and see how it develops. Normally clean water is all thats needed in minor infections. If it looks like wax then nothing much you can do and it may clear on its own

The lump looks to be getting bigger i have added some antibac medicine, i have also added aquarium salt, anything else i should be doing???
 
lumps on the fins tend to be nothing more than annoyances than anything bacterial. just keep an eye on it and see if it grows too big or bursts. if it spreads to the body then let us know, becomes rough in shape rather than smooth.
