My Pleco

Ok guys,

So I have a sailfin pleco, or that is what I think it is. I posted a picture of it on another forum, and I was told that it could be a common pleco.

I was hoping that someone would know exactly what breed of pleco it is (we were given this pleco) with no information.

It's a L001 gold spot ..... Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus

Yes it is L001

got anymore photos? It looks snubnosed there but may just be the angle

Definitely a L001 Gold Spot. I had one of these and they are very nice, but as with most Pleco, they are one big pooping machine.

It is an L001 as others have siad - but it looks stressed... what are yout water conditions like?

I had the water checked, and all was fine, a close friend works at one of our local petshops and does it for me on a regular
basis.


I am what they would call there star customer, I have several different pets and am always buying something every week. lol



I gave learch some zuchini yesterday and all he did was eat, and eat, and eat. So I'm sure he isn't stressed, I think I just

went camera happy and this may have caused him to look stressed, I will stop taking photo's of him for a while.
