Yes, she is definitely pregnant, but I'm not sure how far along she is. There is a pinn that shows the different stages of pregnancy for a guppy, in this forum. Congratulations! :)

She looks to me to be a long way from her next drop. I would guess at least 2 weeks by her shape. I am no good at judging gravid spot color because most of my fish have colored abdomens where you can't see the gravid spot anyway.

I have put her in a breeding cage thing!! As she has now started to square off!! still not sure how long she has 2 go

Well, are you sure she squared off? It doesn't look like she is that far along and if she says in the trap too long she will stress out and die.

I wish you and your female lots of luck JodieRalph. I would not expect her to deliver for another week even considering that the picture is a week old.

HELP!! sorry but im new to this tropical fish stuff!! My guppys gravid spot has gone a kind of brown colour with black spots in it!! shes still squared off. is this normal???

You're probably seeing the actual fry's eyes now, which should mean she's very close... if she's not in a trap, I would trap her now especially since she's squared off.

dont leave her in the trap for more than 48 hours as this can cause extreme stress and miscarriage

can you take another picture of her now?

Hi i cant really the breeding box is a net one so u cant really see that much
