Pregnant Platy Or Something Else?

Can someone tell me if you think my platy is pregnant and how far along? She has this white tube looking thing on her backside and my hubby thinks she is gonna have babies.. Any thoughts?? These are taken just a few moments ago!

My hubby was right she had 8 babies in total either last night or this morning.. I am not sure if she had more as when I went downstairs to see her the babies were swimming up to the top and she was trying to eat them.. UGH! So I took her out and left the babies safely in the breeder box!!

Congrats! I just saw your post and and she looked huge! You can often tell when they are close by their behavior, my female was trying like mad to get away from every other fish in the community and the male was acting strange as well. She just kept going up and down the glass frantically, which she never does, sure enough a few hours later there were babies in the community.

It is really cool to see them grow... enjoy the experience!
