Sunny is one of the first few female guppies I bought. She's been pregnant since the day I got her, and I've been watching her stomach grow larger and larger over the past few weeks. Today I've noticed that she's avoiding the rest of the tank (hiding in the top corner under the cover of the plastic plants by the heater), and has been pretty still. The Danios usually try to play with her , but today she's just ignoring them. Her stomach seems to have dropped further than my last pregnant guppy's and she's got some strange red markings on her side that definitely weren't there before. Unfortunately, she won't co-operate and let me get a picture of them, but they're almost like stretch marks, but on a fish, running vertically on her left side only. I'm a little worried, as Electric (my other female guppy, who has already presented me with two droppings of fry) didn't have those red marks on her. Is she just overly pregnant? Or is this something I need to worry about.
