She was in a tank with another platy, however i moved her into my other tank today which has female guppys in becasue they have different under fins so i'm asuming one is male and this one is female

i added another pic incase it will be any help but i think the first pic is better

Yes, the male has a gonopodium, it looks like this:

a female, well you have one so Im sure you know what it looks like.. Lol
I think platys usually take about 4-6 weeks to have babies, so if yours is pregnant, its maybe only about 2 weeks pregnant.. Don't quote me on this though, Im not saying that its for sure,

Np! Chances are if they've been together for a month or more, she's probably pregnant, platys along with other livebearers are constantly breeding! Cheers!

Your wiki reference is a dead end rawr. I am sure that is one of the few things that wiki will not get wrong, but they never cease to amaze me at how much bad information they have. I will assume that you can tell male from female and tell you that if you had one of each in the same tank for 24 hours the chances are very good that the female is carrying fry. Since a platy will drop fry in about a month, that should give you a fair idea of when you can expect additions to your tank stocking.

Edit: spelling again

Ya Sorry, I know wiki isnt the best info, but I didn't realize till after I posted the pic that if was from wiki, I knew that they were correct though,
so that's why I posted it... heh anyways, I hope I helped :good:
