Since Freshmike and Drobbins nominated me for FOTM, I'm posting some better pictures of my apisto. Excuse the biological filter media; those fell into the tank last time replaced the peat moss in there. I'm cleaning the tank tomorrow; I'll get them then.

This one has a very blurry clown loach in it, but the cichlid looks amazing. Sorry about the alage on the plants; I'm having some trouble with them.

So that's what an A. viejita looks like! Gorgeous colours. I've been thinking about making my next tank a home for some kind of Apisto, I hope I can find this species here.

He only has the bright colors when light hits him from a certian angle, or when I use flash. My camera sucks; he's really more bluish. Heres him without the flash.
