What Is My Fish

Sorry to post on the emergencies forum but it is the only one that would let me attach an image.

Just wondering if anyone knew what type of fish this is

Its an apistogramma species of Dwarf Cichlid, possibly a male apistogramma caucatoides

So it is, thankyou very much. Does anyone know much about these fish. If they are ok on there own and what they eat?

feed him a high quality flake supplemented with frozen foods like bloodworm, daphnia and shrimp,
he should be ok on his own but you could also get a female to go with him if you wanted,

They are quite peaceful but will control a little territory, by giving them a clay pot or hollow coconut you will see this to its full effect.

i 2nd davo there, its a dwarf cihclid of some kind, but unsure of actauly species would need closer pic

be carefull if you get a mate for him, they can be agressive if they breed, if you plant your tank they love hiding in between the stems
