Here is a pic of Little Girl. She's a little over 1 year old and was adopted from a shelter. She loves to fetch plastic bottle caps and stare into my fish tank.

Here's one more, I couldn't help but stick it on here.

Little Girl decided she'd give Nana, another homeless cat we adopted, a bath and wound up going to sleep with her.

oh i just love her... does she have some maine coon in her? as fetching is one of the characteristic of maine coons ( not that i'm saying only maine coons does that) and the extra long bushy tails is also a maine coon feature...( i have two and wish that i could have more but don't really have the space as they are big cats. lol)

i nominate the 2nd pic for POTM

ps. more pics please

Thank you for the kind words.

I love Maine Coons as well. I love all cats really. The little one in the picture with Little Girl is a Maine Coon too, she's starting to fuzz up nicely. She fetches these little rats that vibrate when you pull the string.

The little black kitten is named Muffin. She has a brittle bone disease, and has broken them several times. We think she is better now, well by better I mean she has stopped acting AS crazy and wild as a kitten normally would. We found her abandoned around a week or so old and raised her on a bottle.

She now sleeps on my face and nurses on my finger all night. She is about 1 year old. She also fetches toy rats.

THe calico cat is also part Maine Coon, she's around 10 years old. She fetched at one point also, jingle balls.

We have another Maine Coon, a big orange tabby. We found him unable to walk when he was around 2 months old. He had a broken shoulder, but is all better now. I didn't want to put up too many pics and make people mad so I'll save his for later. He also fetches rubber bouncy balls, lol.

Hehe it actually didn't start out that way. We never could think of a name for her, she never seemed to even acknowledge anything except Little Girl.

I guess she kind of "grew" into it hehe.
