Well after weeks (2) of waiting and wondering, they finally showed up!
I haven't even opened the boxes yet :p Not to mention I don't even know where I am going to put them! I think one is going to go on the demasoni tank and the other on the 50 gallon mbuna tank...as for the 280's....dunno :lol: :lol:

They were just so cheap that I wanted to get MANY of them, just gotta decide which AC300's to kick to the curb... :lol:

Hmmmm.....5 extra filters, me thinks that means 5 more tanks....don't you? :hyper: Prolly not, heh heh, not yet anyway :p

That's a really good deal. But they seem to be back up to $45 now :(.

Do you have noise problems with the Aqua Clear 300? Is the Emperor a lot quieter?
 
The only problem I have with the AC300, is that it has a very high flowrate and very small amount of media....therefore the media clogs extremely fast and tends to push the media basket up. Which is pretty scary considering the water level also goes up and could possibly, in short, drain the tank onto the floor :X
...as for the emperors and questions about them....dunno yet :p
Oh yeah, the lids on ac's tend to rattle...that's why I have model cars on top of all of mine! :thumbs:

I work in waterworks, well, work is not really it right now....
Mostly I just sit around and dream of all the other things I could be doing....

I was going to say I was a ninja or batman or something, but I didn't think you would believe me...lol

I think this guy needs to go to school, that's what me thinks :p

Just don't know what to take......any suggestions? :blink:
 
Oh man!!! What a huge filter!!! Takes up the entire end of my 50 gallon!!! :lol:

I am a bio-wheel virgin...well not no mo....I need detailed instructions and opinions on media if y'all don't mind. I have put in the basic "black diamond" carbon thingy, but am not much for having to buy new ones all the time..
EXPENSIVE!!! :X I don't use much carbon anyway, again, too expensive and rather pointless..... :huh:

As for the extra media thing, I put some filter floss into it, is that cool?

I have heard of using Aquaclear sponges, but where do I put them??? Just toss them in?

Cartridges..... :angry: BLEH! :lol: :lol:
