Hello from North Dakota. I have not had a tank in 15 years. My first tank was a 10g that my dad helped me set up when I was 6 until I graduated from college. My son and daughter both wanted fish tanks for Christmas last year (a 10g and 6g). After that I got the bug again and set up a 60g for myself. It has been going for a few months now and it has been going great. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Here is a pic of my tank. I have a few fish pics also and will post those later.

I have 2 Pearl Gouramies, 1 Blue, 1 Opaline, 1 Sunset, 1 Paradise, 1 Pleco, 2 Rainbows, 2 Bala Sharks, and one Elephantnose.

Thanks! :D

A few of the plants are real. I will be exchanging for more real ones as I go.

Thanks for the welcomes! Not having a tank for the many years, I'm sure I will learn a lot.

I needed a QT ( don't need it yet, but may in the future I'm sure) so I took my boys 10 gal. and bought him a 29 gal. instead. He is excited to say the least.

Tank looks great, but I'd reccommend getting rid of the bala sharks. First you have 2, they like schools and should be in 3 or more. Secondly they're highly active fish that grow to 12" and should have a minimum tank size of 100gallon IMO.

Looks awsome regardless :D

And they're too active for the Elephant nose.
