No thats the nandus nandus leaf fish, here is a pic of my acutirostre.

Ye i aint seen them too often! I like the fish, its a little wierd tho! It seems to think it is other fish, tagging along with them, and then when they spot it, it stops, and just stays motionless. Iv come to the conclusion, it thinks its invisible, which is in its nature i guess! My lfs where i got mine, stil have about 5 after about 2-3 months of having them. Only paid about 4.50 for it. Well worth it! Erm bas had some in when i went about 3 weeks ago. No price up tho. Must of only just arrived, alot smaller than mine at about 5 cm.

Your nandus nandus looks quite large. How big is it now and how long did it take to get that big? Mine is only about an inch and a half ATM for the past 3 or 4 months now.

It is now about 3.5 inch id say, when i got it it was about 2.5 inch, iv had it about 2 1/2 months.
When i got it i got from my lfs he told me thex had been sent by mistake instead of the bushfish, he said they grow bigger than the bushfish, my bushfish is about 5 inch as opposed to the nandus at 3.5, it never seems to grow. But the bushfis eats lance fish and cockles, wheras the nandus wont eat anything but bloodworm! I like the fish, glad i got it. Its just wierd!
