both look great, like the first one, do you have problems keeping it clean? looks very clean in the pic but looks like those rocks could collect detritus.

ste :)

The ground feeders (sucking loach) and a few small bottom feeders do a good job of keeping them clean.

Every month i also vac out the rocks, along with a 50% water change every 3rd week in the month just to make sure pollutants are not building up.

I was going to ask about the cleaning too - I really like the look but would be afraid that I had hidden debris problems below the stones. How long have you had it set up?

It's been setup now for about 6 months. with regular vaccuming and water changes plus bottom feeders the debris dont get a chance to build up.

One thing that you can't see is between the rocks there are places for small fish to get in-between most of them which futher cuts down the chance of debris collecting.

Regular tests allert me when anything is building up in the tank so i can eliminate the problem before it gets a grip.

Very nice tank i like the stone on the gravle i like the second tank too in the middle of the thread. :D

Nice tanks, I have the same rock thats pictured in your first tank in my Oddball tank. I purchased mine from a Garden Centre, looks good and was very cheap and makes excellent caves.
