Some sort of Synodontis...S. petricola perhaps? I could be wrong. I'm not terribly good at IDing Synodontids.

Wow, it still looks BIG - must be the way you have it set up, good going.
Lovely tank, and I adore that rock formation in the centre.
I actually don't have a cell phone at all anymore, never mind one with a camera, which kinda sucks as I've missed some moments I would have liked to record, but, oh, well.

I've no idea what that fish is, but he's adorable!
Looks very blase somehow, very cool in a very 1950's French sort of way, if that makes any sense at all.
Probably have to read through a pile of old Agatha Christies shortly before viewing to think that.
That little eye roll...

appreciate the comments on the tank, which has changed a bit since i took that picture, still got the rock, which is where that synodontis lives most of the time with a talking catfish , they dont talk, just scream , my new mobile is a pain , ive got it all sorted now, but takes lousy pics,

Such a nice shot of that Crowntail - and what a beauty!
How many rays has that sucker got - looks like dozens, lol.
Is he really that luscious red or is it just the way the picture turned out?

pooloflight, I'm so sorry about your loss.
It's lucky you still have the other two and your lovely community fish.
One of the many nice things about having Multiple Tank Sydrome is that you can always find comfort in the others at times like that, even though the individuals lost may be irreplaceable.
