They are very pretty Wuv, I'd try them again if I didn't have such tiny guys in the tank, no sense providing them a free meal if I means wiping out those that have called the tank home for years.
I wonder why my Angels all have wierd fins compared to yours?? I mean, my Angels fins don't poke straight like those ones?? Any ideas?? Are there different kinds or are mine just wierd
I hate taking over other peoples photo threads with pictures of my own so I'm posting this link............if you notice in the picture that his fins sort of curve, they don't stay pointy like yours. All of my Angels are that way.......???
I don't know much about Angels, silver I can't remember but I know there ARE different kinds, that's why I got these when my lfs got them in, because of their tall finnage. I have one little gimp who hasn't grown at all and he has very small finnage (you can see him in one of the pics with the eel) I figure he's just a different kind of angel, I used to worry that he was sick ,but he eats
Stranger yet...if you look closely at the gray angel in the first pic you'll notice a set of "horns" growing from his top fin, he just got those about a month ago...they came in within a week
If the "horns" are at the end of the top fin then I do see them, if not then I don't . I guess then that there is trully different finnage of Angels out there
Maybe you can see it in this pic a little better. I kind of put a little red arrow pointing (kind of, my daughter has destroyed my mouse I can't control it)
The 'horns' grow right out of the center of the fin on both sides, they started off as little nubs and they just kept growing
OoOoOh....you can really see them in this pic, I'm not crazy!!!
EDIT~ after talking to a trustworthy source, we've come to the conclusion that the horns are from being inbred guess the little one's not the only gimp
