They are German Blue Rams :good: They look fine, but isit the pic or has the male lost abit of his dorsal fin?

are you sure they are german..
i went to my lfs and it said it was a bolivian ram..
what is the differance?
yes its fin is healing

easest way to tell if it a german blue is when natrual light hits then and thay reflect a mass of blue

a bit like this one but more vivid.............

Im positive they are G.B.R.'s. Bolivian rams just dont have the color. They are also built differently. Bolivians are most robust, odd looking. G.B.R.'s look more delicate. Plus the difference in color. Very nice female G.B.R. you have there!

oh good..
i was hoping that they wouldnt grow anymore than that.
do you think they will start spawning soon?

Whats the ph of the tank? I recently of a breeder for rams and cockatoo's adn he said they need a very low ph. He told me if i was seriously tihnking about it to collect rainwater, and filter it through with carbon, and add it to the tank for w/c.
