:D Beautiful fish! The guppies look so cute!

 Why does your young guppies mature so much faster than mine? I have a bunch of 3 month old guppies and they're still getting their color and a little over half an inch. Am I doing something wrong? Should I feed them something else besides flakes to make them grow faster?

Thanks for the compliments Sasha and Angela, great to have some admirers :D My fry are alittle over two months but not by much. Sorry i got no special secrets, maybe the camera makes them look bigger? They're probably approaching or are one inch by now. I've just been feeding them brine shrimp pellets, flakes and bloodworms and they get a whole 10 gallon for themselves so they have plenty of growing space. They get weekly water changes and temps are at 78-79 F.
I think the sooner you can upgrade your fry to a biggger area the better and faster they'll grow. Thats all i got for advice :p . Only had one fry death out of the whole 170 of them so I think I'm doing pretty good :D
Thanks for looking :)

Holy crap that's a pregnant guppy! :hyper:

I love your white skirt.

I have 4 of them in my ten gallon and they are so hardy and fun. :)

Jams.alaskan I'm glad you liked Eve, she's turned into something grand from what i bought her as. Her tail has become even larger then some of my males :hyper:

Heather that female guppy is named Flo and she's due either tonight or most likely tomorrow, so yeah she's quite bloated lets say. I also have to agree that yes those whiteskirts are very hardy. I can't even begin to name all the things mine survived through.

Paradise_Gourami those loaches are at 6inches now and believe or not are in with the 2month old fry but they get along fine, haven't seen any go "missing" and the fry think of them as a big parents and often huddle around them so much I'm sure those loaches are tired of babysitting, lol.

Glad the rest of you enjoyed the white skirt, he seems to always be a favorite when i post him with my other fish. Even when i try to put some favoritism on another fish, people love that white skirt but he's my oldest fish so i guess he deserves it :D . Next time I'll post a topic all on him :D
