Hi my platy has been pregnant for almost 2 months. she is squared off at the bottom, round from the front, back and above. and you can see black things from inside her. water was tested today and it is perfect. why has she not had them yet? there is only 1 other platy in the tank

the tank is 10 galllons and currently holds 2 fish. (her and another platy). we have had water trouble but the water is fine now
sorry but i can not post pics because my camera battery is dead and i can't find the charger. sorry for any inconvenience.

please help,

Once you get a pic up, i will be able to help more, but for now, its posssible you missed her first drop, and she is ready again.

just found charger but it will be a bit. will prob post some later tonight. sorry to make you wait.

it is charging now but now my chalenge is to get her to stand still.

ok, here is her pic, but today she looks skinny and swimming around like a madman! i am taking her out of the breeder because i am adding guppies and another platy to my tank and i want her to get used to the new fish and see how they do.

thre is one male in the tank at the moment but he generally leaves her alone but sometimes follows her. i was wondering if maybe she is not pregnant but constipated because to day there was alot of poop iin the breeder and she is really skinny.

She does not look pregnant to me (if pregnant, not far on at all)

ok. thanks alot. i am going to take her out of the breeder today or tommorow. when i take her out, she fattens up, but when i put her in, she poops alot and gets skinny again. i am just not going to bother and if she has them in the tank, ill try to save as many as i can.
