Hi all.

YES, you heard it!!!! 67 guppy frys in just one drop!!!!!! I m not sure whether thats alot for other people - esp. experts, but for me.... personal best!!!! My own record man!!!! 67!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!! YeeePPPEEEE!!!!!
Here the pic of the new born frys, just few hours after birth...(this pic only is half the whole breeding net, so there are more than what you see....67 all together...i think there are 40 something in the pic....)

Feeding them to other fish is definately an option.....
Although I don't think that option is allowed at my house anymore...
Julie won't let me, hmph.

haha...you all are so funny...
well, seriously, i think i m gonna try to raise them and sell to the lfs... if it gets too out of hand, lol, then i would give some of them to my "unable-to-get-my-guppy-to-give-birth" friends... lol
And NO!!!! I DO NOT APPROVE FEEDING FRYS TO CICHILDS!! Lol...
Well, after all this is how the world works - big big fish eats big fish eats small fish eats tiny fish!
This is a pic of momma when she was pregnant...about 3 weeks pregnant...

Thats so great chewy! 67 is a very big batch. All my females have around 30-35 babies each time(doesn't increase) so i wonder what makes some females have over 60 ?!!?

just a wild guess, snowyangel, but i think the age makes the difference in the number of frys....just a guess, might not be true...

At least you really have what you say they are... I'm afraid if any one says they have babies they will turn out to be a pigglet in disguise scam..

Congratulations! That's a ton of guppy fry! I can't evern imagine counting them all!

My female guppy delivered fry in the breeding net (and she was HUGE), but she ate most of the babies. I guess that's her personalty. . . to eat everything that can fit in her mouth and looks tasty. I only saved 5 fry!

I was very fortunate to see the first fry coming out of the guppy.
The guppy showed signs of birthing in the morning, so i transferred her to a breeding net, and at noon - she gave birth!
