I found the red and white at WALMART! They had just unloaded their fish shipment minutes before and I got extremely lucky.

tomorrow is a good day.. but i dont need any more bettas ahh..

im getting 2 more tomorrow... found reciept so i can take them back.. ill get another male and female.. theyre gonna be like... why did they both die.. lol..

1 was sick from the day i got it... couldnt swim at all.. the female had ick.. then fungus... them petcetera fish arent very hardy

hopefully these 2 new ones will be better... just dont know where the female will go... maybe ill condition her by herself in a bowl and introduce her to '2hot4tv'
do u think its safe to breed them in a 1 gallon... i kinda dont think so.. i guess ill have to clean out my 3 gallon for them to breed in

He is Wonderful! I will have to go see what I can find at Wal-mart tomorrow.

Let's see if I get rid of one of the kids I can turn their room in to a fish room and buy more tanks. Ok, not do-able.

why is my wal-mart the only one without bettas? i hear about people getting such great looking betas from walmart and i go there, cant find any, ask the fish guy and he says they rarely get them. anyways as motherof6 said keep posting more pics

Are they supposed to have that RED T symbol at the base of their tail.

As I saw some nice White ones but thought they were dying because of these markings.

I have been looking for one as well and just recently found one that looks like yours except there is some tourqoise coloring at the beginning of the fins. It was the closest I've found to all white.

I'm guessing you mean the red veins you can see on him in the first pics? Those were taken in front of the window and it was like an xray you could see right thru him. lol You can't see them when he doesn't have the light going thru the back of his tank. Some of the cream colored transparent bettas have the red veins you can see and it's just their natural coloring. As long as they don't look terribly red and splotchy and they're really light colored it's usually just the way they are.
