During my last trip to buy some stocks, I bought 5 Cloud Angels and 5 darker Marble like Angels.... Now One week down the line, I find the Clouds have doubled in size, and the marbles remained the same..... Is ther a difference in growth rate of various Angel species??

It might have something to do with their hierarchy. Although, some fish variants (such as albino) have a tendency to grow slower... so who knows?

it doesnt not only appear in marbled angels. all the batches that i bred had a handful of individuals that just refused to grow up. you've find majority of the generation almost being big enough to eat the little ones even though they were born with only a few seconds apart.

In my experience first of all, sometimes the stronger fish who can fight for food more will grow quicker. But more specifically to the topic in hand, I have one dark angel and one marble (predominantly white) has grown alot more - so I kind of agree with your statement too!

These are not from one batch.... Remember, and they were the same size when I bought them..

yes mine have not been from the same batch - purchased on different occasions. So I agree dark angels could possibly be growing slower
