Where did you get those nice bits of slate (I think) in the bottom left of the tank? I am re-organising my rather insipid looking Trigon and those would be ideal for my shy bottom-feeding fish.

Nice set up btw!

(Edited as I don't know my left from right!)

As Promised some new snaps

New addition, and a 'slight' deviation from the plan.

Also a new shot of 1 of the wild caught dwarf acaras introduced a few weeks ago. Think it may be male but not really sure. Let me know if you do!

Cheers,

Bricko

Obligitory full tank shot after yet another plant trimming!

Latest Photo, managed to get most of the algae under control now! The plant had to be scrubbed due to hair algae but it is starting to lose the battle against the plants now.

I'm looking at getting the Fluval version of this tank, the Venezia, but I heard that the bow-front can lead to distortions in the view of the insides, although looking at the pictures this seems wrong, do you ever seem to suffer this problem Bricko?

RedDiscus,
I wish I had room for 190 G tank

190l I'm afraid...........one day though.................

Jaymz, I have seen the Fluval version in my LFS in both 190l and 360l versions fully setup, there did not appear to be any great distortion.

Personally I have 2 bowfront tanks, a vision 260 and this trigon 190. They do apear to give a greater sense of depth than the average tank but would not say that it is vastly distorted.... All fish look fine, I would recommend you scape your substrate high at the back to low at the front otherwise when you look down into the tank at an angle sometimes it can make you go a bit dizzy

Seriously though if you are looking directly at the tank on the same eyeline it looks sound.

HTH

Bricko
