Im setting up a new tank for the fry that i have and was just wondering what type of filter should i get.
I will be adding mature media to the new filter but unsure as what to buy
Any ideas as need to get this tank up and running quickly as i cant keep my fry in the breeder net for much longer
Thanks
Eve

They are molly fry by the way

the best one for fry is a sponge filter that attaches to an air pump, i dont kno what the correct name is for what im trying to say but someone on here may point you to the direction im talking about!

it wont 'suck' the fish up because its simply just a sponge, works just the same as a normal filter, ideal for fry, i have one in my platy fry tank at the mo.

ok but how can i mature it quickly?

I took the black filter off the pipe and put old media inside if it then slotted it back on, tank was fine straight away and the test for the next week showed perfect and its run so smooth since.
