Thanks

The top one is definately a very nice Plakat male, so if yours looks like that then you need to get him out :good:

Bottom one looks female.

I concur with Netty :)
mind you the bottom one has a long dorsal fin for a female. But it looks more female than the top one.

Ok, I edited them 2 pics to show ya someting

On the one below, Where i have circled our fish has more pointy fin

And on this one where i have circled, Our so called Female has these 2 frilly bits coming from under neath

Also she is flarring her gills at the other females too

the first picure is 100% a male pk as netty said, the 2 "frilly" bits are called ventrails and males are longer then girls but not in the pk thats why so many are sold as females, he has a full beard to you can clearly see that in the picure so yes 100% male.

the second one i would say female, yes she has a pointed long dorsal fin but that means nothing when it comes to these fish, i had a lovely girl that was bought as a boy her fins were the same

You really should post actual pictures to be able to make a declaration on what the fish you have are.

We have took that look maleish, and this is the best i could get of the both, they seemed to be hanging out with each other the moment i was doing it which was good

So tell me? :D

they are both male pk, you need to seperate them immediately :good:

How can ya tell there males :S

And there not fighting there actually sticking together :S

Just found this pic

Looks similiar to ours but ours has longer finny bits under its belly *dunno what there called :S* look like long feet lol

From what I can see they both look like male PKs to me too........I would separate them straight away.

You say they are sticking together......well they are more than likely weighing each other up ready for a fight!!!!

Just took some better pics so gonna get them up

Here we go, i got one really got one too :D

There we go

The fuzzy pictures make it really hard. What we need to make a definite judgement is clear pictures of them flaring. But I'd say they both look like PK males. You don't get ventrals like that on females.
