Awesome pics Sue! I have had several generations of manits living in my garden stemming from a momma mantis that I found 5 years ago. She was never really scared of me and when the season was coming to and end she hung out on my basement window so I could see her when I was doing laundry......she left her egg case where I could find it and have been taking care of her ancestors ever since! Probably my favorite bug!!suemack said:took these pics today

I haven't seen one in a very long time either. I believe the last time was when I was about 10 and I was at my Aunt's house, and we found one in her front yard. This was a decade and a half ago.
