Went to the lfs today...I was looking at the bettas,and I saw him up in the top corner. I asked the gal how much the double ray CT was,she looked at me like this :huh: ...so I'm thinkin,'allright!!' . Then I asked her if they sold halfmoons...She said,"What??" LOL Sooooooo I got to take this awesome betta home for $3.99. :thumbs:

wow those are some nice crowntails. mmy lfs had one for sale. they wanted 29.99 for it. is that too much for a crown?

For that much it had better be a superb specimen. Otherwise,a crowny like that can go around $10-15.00. I got reeeealy lucky..lol
 
Why can't my lfs get at least one nice looking betta, let alone a crowntail? I did see a decent yellow butterfly betta there though. Guess in a smaller town the lfs figures any old betta will do.
 
Naw I live in Miami which is a pretty big city, and ALL the pet places and fish places only sell the usual blue and red bettas. :/
