I was feeling glum today...So I went to look at the bettas...I need a straight jacket...I brought home 3... :wub:

And the female I found...I didn't feel much like smiling today,but they made me feel so much better. :)

Well I am glad that getting new fish can still bring a smile to your day, works for me too :nod:
 
Wow Heather!!! BOTM for the 1st pic, he is GORGEOUS. I just love the colors, and I must admit, I'm a sucker for butterfly patterns. :p The female is also wonderful, look at her cuuuuuute little face!! :wub: Light colored females are to die for. And of course I must comment on the goldy, he looks a lot like my chocolate, but with more green.

Great picks. I'm glad they cheered you up, they never fail to do the same for me!! :D
 
Where do you go to get your bettas? That butterfly is awsome! Is he melano?
 
Congrats on the new additions! They're beautiful...you must have a good shop. Ain't it great to be "weak" when it comes to fish! Buy more made in America tanks,and we're just doing our part to help the economy(whatever excuse works....) :whistle: :D
 
How weird, I bought a blue/gold betta yesterday that looks almost exactly like yours, he's just blue instead of turquoise and more of his dorsal is gold, but his fins are very long just like yours :)

Your bettas are adorable!

I was in the same mood today......bought two bettas and three rummie noses! instant natural prozac! :lol:
 
Thanks,guys. :) They had a bunch of butterflys and it took me forever to pick that one out,and I saw the gold and HAD to have a gold,half blue or not lol,and the white female was the first one I grabbed. :wub:

Oh melano is black lol. He looks black in the pic but it might just be the shadows.
