Here's one of the new crownys I just got. He's a very interesting purple patchwork color.

I love him!! Gorgeous coloring, I've never seen any others like him. If you could get a pic of the pretty boy flaring, BOTM for sure. I'll still nominate you, I just love him. :D
 
hmmm what's purple?

Purple means royalty and he is "crowned" right? LOL
Any royal name would work for that.

.... ummm purple popsicle? LOL
Ummmm..... concord? like in grapes?

What's a purple wine? Bordeaux? umm i don't think that's purple is it? What's that wine old ladies like to drink (super sweet?)

As you can see, I don't use names lightly, I like to name things according to what they look like, what they are, what their behaviour is ect ect :)
 
I thought about Picasso, but realized I'd rather know my fish on a first name basis. ;)

Btw, Beautiful Betta!!! You have a lot of nice ones actually, Heather. Where do you get them?

I got him and another pink/purple crowny that has solid purple outlined fins perfectly even all the way around him. They came from thailand together. The rest of my bettas are walmart bettas,petco bettas,and bettas I got online from breeders locally. I wish I could take more pics but I have killed like 10 batteries messing around and I am out until tomorrow. :X I was trying to make it to the BOTM nomination. I'd like to be in the contest. lol :)
