What Plant Is This Please?

I have this floating plant, grows like wildfire, thought it was Riccia, if so, how do I tie this stuff down to make a carpet. Picture included.

Looks like duck weed, somone posted about this in the pinned riccia thread, they tried to carpet it, not very effective im afraid

Agreed. The longer thinner bits in the middle is Riccia. The fatter 3 leaved bits which almost cover the water surface is Duckweed.

Duckweed multiplies like you wouldn't believe. It'll form a thick carpet over the surface of your tank within a few weeks if you don't keep it under control.
