i saw a strange looking marine fish in a small tank with some dancing shrimp in my lfs today, it was about an inch long and had a greenish body with purple and yellow rings and spots , any ideas on a name so i can google it

no idea without seeing it.
Did it sit on the rocks or gravel, was it swimming around the bottom or near the surface? Was it a tall fish or narrow with big fins?

i dont think so it was a bit darker with smaller fins, it was on the bottom not swimming much
