Back Porch Visitor

We came home one evening and there was alot of noise on the screened in back porch. After investigating, we found a large slit in the screen and a hawk perched in the corner.
We have two rabbits in cages on the back porch so perhaps this was the reason for our feathered visitor. The rabbits were fine.
We pinned the door open and he/she eventually flew out. Can you imagine coming home to this?

Did not appear injured in any way.

That rocks! I love it when wild life does things like that. Happy to hear that your rabbits were fine and hawk was uninjured and eventually freed!

Beautiful animal. IMO, predatory birds are the most majestic of all bird species.
