I've decided to move the 2 betta (1 male, 1 female) from my community tank now.
They'll go into a 30 litre tank, but what should I put into the tank? I was thinking a few smooth rocks to make some hiding places. I'm not sure about plants because I like real ones, which could be hassle, if the bettas will be happier I'll get them though.

Also, is it best to get a couple more females with the male, or use a divider? If I used the divider how many times can I divide a 30 litre tank, 2 or 3 times?

If I did divide the tank I thought I could have the male on one side, females in the middle and another male on the other side. Or just the male on one side and females on the other.

Where do you get dividers from. Are they glass?

(I'll get there one day!)

Can you post a photo of the tank itself so we can assist you better?

well 30 litre is 6.6 UK gallons, so i would divide twice and no more

however, some people would choose to divide 3 times, not recommended

I use plastic canvas, stationery binders and aqua glue, doesnt look fantastic but separates naughty girls who argue...
