Ok I Wasnt Going To ( Hatched Update)

I decided to breed after alot of reading and getting the pair ready.

i went with the crown tails because the females tummy is huge and shes in prime condition (not that im an expert)

anyhow i put them in last night and released her this morning, not much has happened in the way of spawning

he chased her then she chased him flaring at each other, hes nipped her tail a little but nothing to worry about.

, but hes been building this ,what do you think :hyper:

He looks like he is building a fort lol: that is unreal lol, mine was not even a 1/4 the size of that when mine spanwed lol..

Your betta is on summat lol.
 
must be all the good food im feeding him lol,

the female is like "yeah whatever" :huh:

shes probably thinking, omg how the hell am i suppose to lay enough eggs for that bloody thing lol, get me out a here lol :lol:
 
wow my guys never blow ones like that ,, he must be a happy boy!, it also took my one pair like 4 days to spawn so as long as he isnt beatin the crap out of her you might just have to wait it out, there is also somthing called breeding bars,, up and down are good means she is ready and in the mood :shifty: but head to tail means she is stressed

what tail type is the the black fish on the lower left?
 
if you put her in a breeding jar in with him she can watch him until she is ready...typical woman! :drool:
 
well i put her back in the chimney because there was no sign of interest by her,

she still has no breeding bars, do all females get them when ready?

i have not seen her have any bars breeding or stress ?

i was thinking some colour fish dont get them?

his nest is still going strong this morning :good:

i just did a little water change and managed not to harm the nest :nod: ,

so i will keep on with it, if not i will change female,

i have VTs ,DT and a HM all conditioned, but not sure what the best tail type woud be to go with the CT.

any comments welcome ;)

very nice fish!

Depending on the colouring of the female the bars may be difficult to see.

well there trying :hyper:

he took a while to squeeze some eggs but there is a few, but shes putting them up in the nest not him :shout:

hes still having difficulty gripping her but they are trying bless them. :wub:

and the battries went in the camera :sly:

yay we have spawnage :hey:
