My Cute Little Hedgehogs!

ok so these are my hedgies the albino one is velcro she is 1 year old and was my first hedgehog
shes just so cute lol
and the brown/cinemin one is my first hedgies dad and hes 3 yrs old and I got him close to velcro's birthday in dec. his name is sonic!

I went through a stage where I really wanted a hedgehog .

Aww...Makes me want to get another hedgehog. I had an albino pygmy a few years back, he was such an awesome little fella.

I never realised you could keep hedgehogs as pets! Duh!
I've often thought that they would be amazing to keep, what are they like? Are they friendly, what noises do they make and what do they eat? I always imagined they would be a bit like guinea pigs.

My mom had one a long time ago. I was like eleven at the time. Cute as a button but a pain to handle when it balled up. We had big thick welding gloves and occasionally it would poke through into your hands.

well mine are very friendly and yours probly didnt come out because you wore gloves so they couldnt get your sent

they are like big hampsters with a comb for hair and they have as much personality if not more than a dog or cat and they will reconize you after a while
even tho they are nocturnal they will come out in the day and after a couple of minutes they are up and about
mine many makes little clicks and when hes mad he will huff and seem to sneeze
they eat a mixture of kitten food and speacial hedhog food and my guys love to eat apples and bananas for a treat
they are quiet delicate tho but all the upkeeps is well worth it B)
