you can come to my area and take all the maine coon/part maine coon kittens you want.

some times around farm land people get this great idea to just let loose cats and other pets they dont want anymore, and a few years ago some one let loose some purebred maine coon and a few siamease cats....now all our strays and barn and farm kittys are for the most part huge 20-25 pounds and some pretty long haired and gorgeus. my barn kitty who is now fixed had 5 kittens one year...and all had super long hair and turned into giant adult cats, while she though tiny but fuzzy haired only weighs in at 8 pounds.

this very past summer I ended up fostering 5 kittens because their mommy disapeared:( I though they were sickly and not going to make it...because they were so so big but hadnt opend their eyes or started to crawl well, had taken them to the animal rescue to see what could be done for them...and only to find they were 1-2 weeks instead of the 4-5 I thought! I raised all them till 8 weeks and they all went to adoptive homes:)

I like kittys...but no longer in the house:)

i would love to have more, but i would need lots of space and money to keep more. maybe one day when i win lotto.....i'm just trying to imagine what does a mainecoon cross siamease would look like. why don't the people put unwanted pet to animal rescue instead of let loose in farm land? or have them desexed at the very least.

Barring them eating/maiming my son, LOL,
I'd create a 'natural' habitat for wolves first. Get some from a zoo that has too many and 'sigh' be happy, LOL.
Then I'd create a pool with tropicals so I could dive and watch them swim. Really wouldnt be that hard, hmm, we may do this one anyway, LOL.
Then I'd have my friesian stallion, maybe a friesianXarab cross.
Crap, I love animals so much it's best to post what I wouldn't keep, LOL.

I would have 2 BIG ponds one outside for fishing and one heated inside pond for the realy big tropical fish i wish i could keep now

We would have at least 3 dogs - St Bernard, Newfoundland and a Tibetan Mastiff. But we will be getting those when we move (not all at once though!)

I know Andy would have a llama or 2. For some reason he thinks they are cool.

I quite like the idea of having my own penguins but isn't really practical so would have to be content with have a rescue type place for the little fluffy animals

what kind of place are you moving to? a country of your own prehaps? you need at least a warehouse just to house one dog and unlimited cash flow to feed them  and i want photos when you do get to have them. please

I would have buy hobby farm then set myself up with some mini chickens, mini cows (soooo cute) pygmy goats, a couple more rabbits, dogs, cats. It would have an outdoor pond and another one in the gorgeous greenhouse that will be there too!
Mini cows...

If I had the Space i would Have
a Couple of Neopolitan Mastiffs, a Goanna, and a large aviary for a Secretary Bird.

id have parrots maybe a white tigger too
my first love is Tigers. when i was younger i used to dream of fencing off our garden, it was 5 acres though, and keeping one or two of them. as i got older i realised that because i loved them so much, i could never keep one in captivity.
so i would go for a pack of European wolfs.

oh my goodness! i do not know where to start!
have snakes, have a doberman, have lots of fish, have turtles, have rabbits, have an aviary, have hamster.

i'd like to breed saint bernard dogs. but you need like a farm to do that!
i like the sanctuary idea! that is defo for me, but yeah, you need to win the lottery. (i can keep buying the tickets though and keep hoping!!)

i love african grey parrots, and would love to breed and hand rear the babies. but sooooo much time is needed. and you are literally housebound while they are young.

i love chameleons, but i hate all the crickets and things you have to feed them so thats not for me really!

there isnt alot i wouldnt have really! i'd give anything stray a home. i've been told i should work for the rspca!

Id love a tropical room. I would setup the lighting and heat right and then keep many different things from iguanas to snakes and spiders. (Obviously anything dangerous would be kept in a tank!!!) but the rest to roam the room with a tank for them to quarintine and sleep

then a viewing glass on one wall for friend to look at if there scared to go in.

Once I get out of college...get a job...and house, AND some land lol I'd really love to have:

2 horses, a mustang for trail riding, and just any kind of horse for a companion.
I've always loved longhorns, so I'd like maybe a trio of those.
Pygmy goats(so cute) in there own little 'yard' with lotsa play toys/climbing things.

I've always wanted a great dane and german shepard, along with a smaller dog, maybe a cocker spaniel or a terrier, to keep inside.
3 cats, we have like 18(no joke) at my house....and I love the ones that mine...I just don't want that many.
I've always wanted a koi pond, and several aquariums.
-One for a green terror
-One for a large, passive, community
-One for a agresive community(red tailed shark, tiger barbs, and some larger tetras)
-And several tanks for bettas :)

Then I really want some finches and parakeets(don't know how they would work with the cats)
And I'd LOVE to have a iguna, with a BIG encloser(maybe like 10x6x6) something like that, and 'leash train' it, and take it to the park and whatnot lol

And thats about it....oh yea...I need a big house, and yard...and win the lottery lol

id love guinea pigs! but really want enough space for them. And some degus. id definately want a large large cage for them.
and birds. Ive never been into them, but recently ive started thinking how cute they are.
When me and my OH move in together we're going to end up with some kind of animal farm :S
I already have gerbils, a hamster, fish, a gecko. He wants snakes, to breed crickets (hes weird). In fact, he wants to build in a room, thats half water, half land based, to have turtles.

Id set up a greenhouse with sprinklers and stuff to keep a jungle with a monkey and parrots and maby have a small stream for turtles then have some snakes and lizards and a type of small deer :hyper:
