So my male ahs built his nest and done a good job, and he still giving a tocuh up everynow and then..

Only problem is the female dont seem very intrested (she is in the chimney), he is flaring at her like mad but she dont feel the love lol

What shall i do now?

Do you mean shes showing no bars??

hmm you my have to take her out of the chimney for a day then retry her....

If he's built a nest then try releasing her into the tank and see how it goes, she may changer her tune once she's actually in there with him! But keep a close eye on them and make sure no ones getting beaten up too badly good luck :good:

Has she got a egg spot (little white spot on the vent area)?

If she's not ready then she'll not produce any eggs.
However if she's under the best this is a good sign and she should be standing up to the male if he comes back.

I have to say though that many males are stupid when it comes to breeding for the first time, they generally do lurn though over 2 or 3 bad spawning's, they then usually have the right idea.

If you think you have missed the spawning the look at the nest from above, between the bubbles you notice little white dot's these are the eggs.

Yes there is a little tiny white dot, but she still looks on the thin side... i have not missed the spwaning for sure..

The male is still flaring at her every now and again but not as much as he does when she is in the chimney.

dont sound like they are interested. she sounds more interested but she is not ready yet. how long have you conditioned them for? id split them up and stuff em full of rich foods untill she is fat as a pig! then try again

Ditto, give her 10-15 days on NHBS and protine rich foods then try again.
