well the tank is only 46 gal and yes i know its maybe too small,but at the moment they are putting on size really well,so for the moment untill funds permit thats there home for now

Thats fine for them up into adult if you do all the regular water changes/maintenance, its aggression which can eventually be the problem though.
 
46 gallons isn't too small for 6 discus, like said, as long as the right water changes are done. they look pretty healthy so i'm sure you're doin a good job :good:

just one question, what are your water stats at?
 
my water stats are,ph 6.5 kh7 gh7,ph goes to 7 overnight once the co2 is turned off,theyre doing really well,and coluring up very nicely now

lovely! i prefer discus of this variant as compared to the hybrids that everyone's so crazy about these days :lol: *no offence
 
well im not 100% sure but i think one of them may be pregnant,ill keep an eye on her/him,could be just a fat male :rolleyes: but he/she seems to eat the same amount as the others,if i have any more news ill let you all know
