Guppie Mania!

Lately I have been realy facinated with guppies, so I set up my old tank and got 3 more off some friends. I have
1 x 18.5 Litre
1 x 15 Litre ( Rough Estimate )
2 x 23 Litre

I am looking at hobby breeding these fish, so if anyone could tell me what to do with the tanks or recomendations for my setup it would be very helpful. E.G So-many fish in a certain tank, This tank for fry, ect ect.

P.S I am relativley new to this website, but I have kept fish before but never tryed breeding them.

They could all be used for rearing fry but the 20L could have a few adults in to breed, then you put the fry in the smaller tanks.

As i showed this to another member, i still had the pic so thought it might intrest you, this is what i did with one of my tanks... for breeding.

This way you need to have a plastic bottom made for the fry to fall through, its just like a breeding trap one only larger.



This is another way you can do it, only 2 pieces of glass needed and some sealer to attach the glass.

Great stuff, hope they all do well

Be sure to feed them 3-5 times a day every 2-3 hours as there motabelism is very fast.
