*jealous* i really love those cubes....how much did it cost? :good:

hi
thanks
it was £75 from maidenhead aquatics syon park. came with gravel ( we didnt use) lots of fertilizer & root tabs, the lights, a mini filter ( we're still using our old fluval one until i can fix a spraybar to the new one) an elite 25w heater ( not using that either as we already have a mini heater, we probably could have got the tank & lights cheaper but it was an impulse buy when my o/h took me to get some new khulis & to be quite honest we always seem to end up using extra bits of equipment anyway or i will sell them on ebay sometime. we love the cube too. it gives our betta lots more water to swim in ( old tank was approx 26L ) & fits much better on our computer desk & still allows bert to flirt with our black mollie girls who he can see in the big tank which is right next door. our old tank had those crappy little 30w arcadia bulbs and its just amazing how mad the plants have gone despite being uprooted & replanted with the much better lighting in the new tank.

Hi,
I was going to get one of those tanks (aquacube 40l) it looks great. What are the dimensions?
Thanks,
Luke

thats a nice little tank :good: well decorated too lol looks nice and ... fresh might be the word i'm lookin for :look:

the 6 footer looks awsome too! what ya stockin it with?

hi & thanks
thae big tank you can see is not our new 6ft, its our 4ft community tropical. we pick up our 6ft tommorow & then have to psyche ourselves into doing the big swap over.
the 4ft has tiger barbs, yoyos, rummy nose tetras, cardinal tetras, ottos, corys, black mollies & a black khuli inhabiting it.

I have a small planted cube tank too (30cm, 30cm, 35cm tall) and I love it! (mine has a hang on filter though) They are so stylish - the rounded front corners are sleek aren't they! And they fit on a table top well too. They're great little investments. :good: I'm sure your betta is very happy.

heres some more pics of the big tank............the one we're just about to dismantle & swap for a 6ft one & we're going to use black sand instead of the gravel which i hate.
we've had this one for nearly 5 years, im dreading the swap over but im sure it'll be worth it in the end.

oops theyre a bit small i'll try again!

hi & thanks
the 4ft just has 2 old T8's arcadia i think, one for 'plants' & one 'sunshine' one. the new tank has a little T5, we want to get new T5's for our new 6 fter.
our plants went mad when i started using flourish root tablets regularly & i also chuck in a bit of flourish excel carbon fertilizer now & again ( when i remember) i dont use co2, we did have a basic bubble/rack co2 thingy for a while but i ditched it after a cardinal & a rummy became trapped in the teeny space behind it & the cardinal died.
