well the fish are now likely to be maturing into adult fish and so the dominant oscar willnot like the other fish in its territory
you say there is plenty of space but actually how big is the tank? i.e. volume and dimensions
Actually come to think of it, Why is this in the livebearers thread ?

its not the tank pictured, the are in a tank 60" x 24" x 18"

Ok, seems you have a 112G aquarium, which as your finding is a bit small for two mature oscars, try rearranging the tank so that the fish aren't always in view of eachother, this should also shape up any territory that your dominant oscar has been patrolling, do you know if they are both male, female etc?

both females, beenoffered a trade for a juve silver arrowana, so might not have problem for long, will be sad to see them go, but cant keep her in hospital tank all the time

you do realise that a silver arrowana will ougrow your tank ?
