Hey guys so I got pics taken of my new tank, I have to admit I'm quite proud. I converted this tank from FW to Brackish once my albino tiger oscar got too big. I graduate in May when I will reward myself with a 70 gallon tank and that way the GSP and Mudskippers will have a long term home :) Thanks for indulging me!

His name is Jesus because he walks on water.
Barbie.jpg
Her name is Barbie because she is kind of a ditz. She prefers to cling to the glass instead of using the two platforms I made. She is kind of growing on me, I will look into the aquarium and she'll come up to me all curious. (It's pretty cute)

I have 6 BBG's

Sorry it's a bad photo, his name is Pudge

I'm receiving more in a couple minutes, I'll post em when i get them

This is the left half above water
Right_side_above.jpg
This is the right half (a typical turtle dock on this side)

And here he is enjoying the turtle dock

Jave_Fern_and_Driftwood.jpg
This is right below the turtle dock, a couple pieces of java fern attached to driftwood and lava rock with tubing.

And that's my tank, it took me awhile to get it going, I used live cichlid sand as the substrate with with a little crushed coral on top. For the left side I took slate and got it cut into strips, then made stairs out of it. The filter pulls water from below the slate (so you can't see it) and then pumps it out on to the piece of arizona flagstone that the skippers love so much. To attach the slate pieces together I used aquarium glass glue, which it wasn't meant to attach stone to stone but it worked real well. The only downside to this set up is that you cant see behind the divider on the left side under the water, but luckily for me the fish prefer the main portion of the tank and rarely go under there :) Except for the curious Pudge. Anyways all thanks again for indulging me :)

awwwww i love those mudskippers.....and calling it Jesus!!! excellent name lol

Thanks All :) my mudskippers are so happy and I love watching them battle the puffer for the brine shrimp... Jesus acts as though I'm only going to put enough food in there for Pudge lol
