Todays Walmart Rescue

I was picking up some supplies in walmart when I noticed this female, loved the coloring when the light hit her just right she had blue, red, and lavender colors showing in her fins and body. I bought her. Now have her home and was curious if the striping on her body is stress stripes or just part of her coloring/pattern, is she a wild type or something else? Round tail is what she looked like in the tail type department. Would love to hear what you guys think...thanks... and this is the best picture I could get of her so far, she's all over her new tank, hasn't stopped swimming around since I put her in except long enough to get a breath at the top and take off again.
Just checked on her, the stripes on her sides have disappeared and she & Zoom have been having stare down (there in two separate tanks but near each other).

I admit, i am very limited in Betta knowlege, but i think i am right in saying that stripe's on female betta's means they are full of egg's? By the way, Beautiful Betta!!!!!!!!

No they are stress stripes, breeding stripes are vertical
She is just adjusting to her new surroundings, she also may still be quite young and her colour will come out in time she is very pretty though

thanks for your input, its appreciated. the only problem im having now is whether shes a plaket or veil tail... im leaning towards vt cuz the ventral fins are longer. here are some other photos i got since shes settled down...the rays in her tail are 2s but from wat ive read online everywhere plakets can have just two as well so its hard to tell the two apart, anyone able to tell that has more experience then i do?
