This was the tank when I first started, tank was not cycled and I lost some fish....

This is the tank now, I added a new piece of driftwood, which only took an hour to soak and did not change the color of my water!!! :) and the fish seem to enjoy it!

Some of my fish!!!!!

Welcome the panda corys to their new home today, I got 3 so far, I plan to add about 3 more. (they seem to hide a lot, is this normal....and the giant danios seem to be mean to them, got any ideas?)

this is my powder blue dwarf gourami. i would like to know if it is male or female, and i plan to get it a friend. I would like a pair of them, is this a good idea? Also, he seems to be king of tank * just b/c the giant danios pay no attention to him, he doesnt bully a thing though.

NICE!!!!!!!! I really like the Gourami!!!!!!!!!! Danio's in my experience are mindless energetic fish that ram into the tank wall's, and yes they are aggressive. The corries should be fine. You might want to get another Gourami, as long as they arent the same sex!

This is my sunset platy, problably the most harmless in the tank. They seem to pick stuff of the bottom a lot, is this normal? I have a pair of these, one is a really light orange, while the other one is a bright orange. How do i know if they are male or female?

These are the big bullys in my 29 gallon community tank. They are very squirmy and chase each other around more than anyone. I dont know if they are a good thing for the tank, they may be stressing a lot of the fish out? A lot of people tell me they are ok, but I am starting to think differently. If i want to get rid of them, what should i do?

This is one of the many guppies i lost due to the ich and new tank syndrome :(

And this is my bearded dragon Bubba. He is the coolest thing ever and loves life. His cage is enormous and he runs around the house all day and loves people. He enjoys being held and just being around people. Also, he has the coolest colors i have ever seen :good:

And since you are here, if you could answer some questions that would be great!

My tank is 29 gallons ( i plan to upgrade in the next month or 2, to 46 gallon bowfront or 55 gallon)

Current Stock:
4 giant danios
3 panda corys
2 sunset platys
1 powder blue dwarf gourami

Stock I want in the next week:
4 giant danios
6 panda corys
2 german blue rams
2 sunset platys
2 dwarf gouramis
Some cherry shrimps?
MAYBE a couple of clown loaches ( i will be upgrading tank size soon!)

Filter- Aqueon 30 power filter
gravel substrate
fakeplants
temp 78-80
Nitrate- 0
Nitrite-0
Hardness-75
Chlorine-0
Alkalinity-70-80
Ph- 6.8-7.0

OK so for the questions part. Is the stock I want compatitble with eachother? What should i do about the giant danios, they are starting to become a problem? I bet they are what stresses my fish and caused the ich outbreak. Which tank do you think I should get 46 bowfront, or 55 long? I want to get plants in my tank, but every time i goto the lfs, they try to sell me some 200.00 light and tell me i need it. Are there any low maintenance plants out there that dont need much light? Also I am open to any suggestions and facts i should know....

I am still learning!!

Ummm from what I saw of the pictures, the so called Panda corys are green corys...

now that you mention it, you are right. I am really mad now, the lfs sold them to me as panda corys.
do take note that real pandas really look like pandas and not like any other cory. so its easy to tell the difference. don't get tricked again next time
