Gold Nugget

My gorgeous goldie

Very nice.......as you may of read I bought my nugget on saturday. Mine is smaller than yours, I payed £22 for it. In one of my other LFS thet have five inch nuggets for £40 . How much was yours and how old is it?
I haven't seen much of mine as it's always hidden away in the ship wreck. What food are you giving yours? I got some cucumber today and i'll put in the tank tonight.

I paid £25, he is about 6-7cm and I think he is at least 2 years old, almost certainly older as the guy I bought him from had him for a while.

He is normally very nocturnal, today he decided to show off (while he was trying to steal the Kribs cave) he normally hides in his pipe during the day.

He is in a community tank and I feed flake, algae wafers, catfish pellets, veggies and various frozen foods so he gets a varied diet as well as munching on vegetable matter around the tank.

He is a lovely fish, surprisingly aggressive when provoked and strikes me as pretty intelligent.

So jealous, these have to be one of my favourite catfish, if my tank was large enough for a 14" fish id have one from my lfs already
