You would almost certainly loose most if not all fry in that tank. You may need to invest in those natural ferns i suggested if not something similar

yeah got one of both females the one on the left is female in Question the one on the right im not sure as to wheather se is pregnant, but has a very clear gravid spot

have the gravid spots gotten bigger? they don't like their pregnant when my guppy had fry it looked like she was about to burst.
 
Sorry your fish is a long way from giving birth, belive me if you think she fat now just wait a few more weeks and see how big she'll rearly get!!!

Give her time and some live or frozen foods now and then this will help her greatly.
 
i really need to know about how close my platy is to giving birth so i can prepare better....its so hard to wait!!she has a very dark gravid spot and i kno shes pregnant but are there any signs o how close she is to giving birth?? :unsure:
 
Heya all thought id tell you all one of the girlies has dropped fry, weve got four cant tell who dropped it at the moment, leaving them to take there chances in the tank to avoid getting over run

You guys own a great camera, I must say. The average hobbyist does not obtain such crystal clear pictures of individual fry. Good job!
