I just saw a bunch of Anubias in a Local fish shop labeled as Anubias Minima "Bonsiae".

Anyone heard of these?
I cant find any info on the internet.

Thanks
Jeremy

If you search for

Anubias Minima "Bonsai"

then you get more info, I assume this is just a spelling variation?

Sorry mate, tried that.

Im just hoping it stays small around 5cm.

Anyone have any clue?

A pic of petite nana from plantgeek, may or may not be same variety with different name.

It appears to be there according to a few sites, this one has it a few paragraphs down, though it refers to it as 'nana bonsai':

http://toptropicals.com/html/toptropicals/.../anubias_en.htm

"Nana "bonsai" even smaller than “wrinkled leafâ€￾ leaves are somewhat oval shaped, and about 0.5-2cm in length. Extremely rare at this moment."

Hey

Its weird cos the leaves do not resemble nana leaves at all.
They are not as round and are longer than the nana leaves.

I just took a couple of photos with my camera phone.
here they are:

what do you guys think?

Take one of the plants out of the substrate, the rhizome cannot be submerged, or it will rot. Otherwise, pretty sweet. Wish I could get my hands on something like that. Would look interesting. I wonder what the flowers look like?

I know there is a plant company in Singapore that does a bonsai anubias, its a rip off of the tropica nana petite, so should say very small, easily under 5cm.
