My Nutrafin Co2 Set Up

just in case anyone is interested in the diy approach here is a pic of how ive set mine up,i added a check valve on each canister because when i changed the mix in one canister the pressure inside the seperator forced the water and the co2 out of the tubing,

Ive just setup 2 of these and have found the ladder just clogs up with white gunge at the bottom.

I think you've over filled your canisters in that case. White gunge is the mix escaping and probably isn't that good for your fish. Re-do your mix with a little less water and you should be ok. Also worth using a bubble counter to stop any gunk getting into the tank, as it'll go into the bubble counter instead :)

same exact setup as i have. works great.

The mixture isnt entering the tank as all the pipework is clear also the lids are clean. It seems to be a milky substance collecting on the bottom rung of the ladder. I have to clean the ladder every 2 days or so.

the milky substance is normal when using yeast based co2,thats why i use a seperator,any gunge falls into the seperator and not on the ladder,
