Yeh looks very nice, not bad for a first attempt :good:

its 40 gallon tank,it has 6 juvenile discus, and 4 neons, the discus will be rehoused when they reach a bigger size and start to pair up,already have a 36 gallon bowfront ready to rehouse a couple of them when the time comes, and thanks for your nice comments much appreciated

Very nice, is the 40 and 36 gallon your only tanks?

no i have another tank which i use just for my hma water for my discus, which is heated to slightly higer than my discus tank water, and so makes my regular 25% water change less of a chore

Discus really need to be kept in groups of 5+, so splitting them up isn't really a good idea

I suggest getting at least a 60 gallon for them (10 gallons per Discus) :good:

i know they prefer groups, they will only be split up when the pair off,as for getting bigger tank that aint a problem either once they start to get some size on them, they will only be split up if and when they are in breeding condition
