Yeah banjo's are a good idea, some grow to 12" e.g. Aspredo cotylephorus

However these are very docile peaceful fish, are your cichlids boistrous?

You good get some Banjo Cats, those'll grow to about 6" and they like to burrow, also, you could probably put a channel catfish in it until he's too big. Both those fish like having sand in their tank.

Banjo cats look great just seen em there, i like strange unusual stuff like that, will they clean the tank? is there anything else, i know our tanks not marine but it looks kinda marine( ish ) cos of gold sevs etc, is there any nice colour catfish or ones that cud look Marine ( ish ) lol or any other cleaner which cud look marine ( ish ) any help is appreciated :good: BIG SHARK :good:

yeah banjo cats look class although they arnt very colouful, they look really interesting though :) my cichlids arnt boisterous, the convicts are at the minute cos the babies are in a hole n theyre protecting them but im guna get rid of the cons as theyre 2 aggresive for the others, the only fish the convicts havnt bothered is the black ghost knife which i was really worried about, its even been right next to the eggs n the cons didnt do nowt :) are these the banjo cats u mean ???
