I am ordering one of these for my Juwel Rio 125L and am wondering if i will be able to use reflectors with them? They look like they sit side by side?

Yes you can. I know the picture makes them look like they're side by side but they aren't. Just make sure you use the right end caps to make the electrical circuit connect up. I have one of these for my Juwel 125 :)

End caps? Do i need to purchase these separately? Forgive me, i am a complete novice to this

Also where did you place this kit in the tank? Front or back? It looks like a bit of a squeeze to me!

This is the Link to the one im interested in, wont it come with the end caps?

The end caps are supplied. The only thing you need extra are reflectors, tubes and a plug-in-timer (not essential but recommended).

Ive already got the two 18w tubes and need to buy an additional timer as i have one on my main lights. Think i need to invest in a 6 socket plug bank lol. Ive got plugs everywhere now.

Will this definately fit in my rio 125? I dont fancy buying it if it wont fit  I have a stupid rock background which im now reluctant to take out as it cost a ridiculous £50, so this takes up most room at the back of the tank.

Actually having just looked at the tank again i cant see how im going to fit in two more tubes and reflectors at the front :/ I really want to order the starter unit tonight so if anyone can offer any help?

Me and George have had this in our Rio 125's. I also believe Chris has aswell, have a look here to see pictures.

Lol this is taking some brain power. Looking at those pics it looks as though the extra tubes are either side of the main tubes. How were these fitted? Additionally it looks as though theres one reflector for the two tubes. The reflectors look bigger than mine as the white clips are either side of the reflector, where as on mine the clips are on the top of the reflector so i dont see how id stretch it over two bulbs.

Arrrrggg, my head is hurting!

4 tubes. 4 reflectors.

I didn't have mine like in the link photos.

I just balanced on the center brace with each reflector over each tube. It's a snug fit, but good. The way it's in the link is poor for re-strike - lighting lost through bouncing back and forth between tubes. This way is better...

i dont think id be able to put an extra tube in the back though as i have the rock background which sticks out?

OK. Then use a single starter and a 25w 30" T8 tube instead. This fits nicely across the front.

I can recommend Zoo Med Ultra Sun tubes. Aqua Essentials sell them at a good price (£10.99), cheapest I've seen.
